–The Beach on Marco Island is pristine and unaffected from the Oil Spill. With the Deepwater Horizon well capped, any prior threat reported to Southwest Florida beaches or coastline has been eliminated.

The resort is sensitive to guests’ concerns about the Northern Gulf Horizon Deepwater oil spill and wants to reassure guests that the Southwest Florida region is not being affected.

Despite the lack of affect on the destination, General Manager Rick Medwedeff reiterates that guests’ peace of mind is the hotel’s priority. "We want our guests to see for themselves that they don't have to worry about beach conditions during their visit. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, travelers can see real-time footage of the beach via our two web cams."
